Luke Dempsey has been appointed the new manager of Mullingar club St. Loman's, succeeding Declan Rowley, who has taken charge of his home club Killoe Young Emmets in Longford.
The former Carlow and Westmeath manager guided Moorefield to a second consecutive Kildare SFC title in October.
The Westmeath side, who have a number of county players in their ranks including Paul Sharry, John Heslin and Ken Casey of Offaly, will be bidding to regain the county title in 2015.
Ironically, Dempsey played for St. Loman's town rivals Shamrocks.
