The 44th Club Annual General Meeting
Please note that the 44th Annual General Meeting of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, takes place in Collinstown Hall on Saturday night, December 6. The meeting is timed to start at 8pm. All members are asked to please attend.

The Pull - Next Saturday Night
Lough Lene Gaels hurling club present... The Pull, a comedy play in Hotel Castlepollard next Saturday night, November 29, commencing at 8pm. Tickets €10 each. Please support this event and enjoy a night of laughs!

Lotto
Last Sunday night, November 23, a lotto draw for a jackpot of €4,100 took place in the Maypole, Collinstown. The result of this lotto draw will be stated in the Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club article in the next edition of this newspaper.

Sincere Condolences
Sincere condolences to the Walsh family, Cummerstown, Collinstown, and the wife and family of Michael Walsh, Garristown, Dublin, a native of Cummerstown, Collinstown, who died recently.
The deceased gentleman is a former player of the Glenidan and Lough Lene Gaels hurling clubs. May he rest in peace.

Christmas messages from abroad
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club is taking part in an initiative in conjunction with the Christmas fair which will be held in Mullingar from December 19-21 this year.
As part of the festivities - held in conjunction with the Westmeath Examiner - two family films will be shown each day on a specially installed big screen on the Market Square. Around the display of these films messages will be displayed from those who are unable to get home for Christmas, be they living, working or on active duty abroad.
