Table Quiz
We held our annual table quiz last Friday night in The Bodhrán. There was a huge turnout and we'd like to thank everybody who came along on the evening and supported the club. A big thanks to Sean Delaney who, as per usual, put together a varied, challenging, and at times controversial quiz! Thanks also to Aisling and Aine Heraty, Paul Seery, Sinead Lyons, Kathy Morley, Eavan Gannon and Noreen Deegan for helping out on the night also. Thanks also to Gerry Claffey for amplification and to Brendan and Fiona in the Bodhran for hosting us and sponsoring raffle prizes.

Annual General Meeting
Our AGM is scheduled for Friday 12th December. We want to encourage everybody to come to our AGM as the attendances have been low in recent years. Following our recent Future Vision 2020 forum and planned developments, there will be plenty to discuss on top of the normal agenda. Motion and nomination forms are available for collection in The Bodhrán. Please return to our secretary, Aoife Deegan, by Friday 5th December.

Sympathy
The club extends it's deepest sympathy to Mrs Rose Claffey and the Claffey family on the sad passing of Rose's brother, Br. Jim Dunne, Milltown, Dublin. May he Rest in Peace.

Scór na nÓg
Preparations continue for this years scór competitions. The Scór Table Quiz will take place in St Patricks Hall, Delvin on Saturday 6th December at 7.30pm, we have two teams entered. The first Scór Na nÓg Semi-Final takes place on Saturday 29th November in Ballymore at 7.30pm. Ballinagore GAA are taking part in Solo Singing and/or Recitation Competition. The second semi-final takes place on Sunday 30th November in The Downs at 3pm where our Rounders club takes part in Solo Singing and/or Recitation Competition. We would love for some support on the days for our young participants.

Get Well
We want to send Mark King best wishes for a very speedy recovery from his back surgery which he is undergoing on Wednesday of this week. Mark was sorely missed this year on the field and we hope to see him back in action again in 2015.

Townland League
We are going to run our Annual Townland League a bit earlier this year. We will be running games in December and the full schedule will be available for next week. There will be junior and senior competitions again. There is a lot of talk around the place that Toarlisnamore will be going all out for their second title with the return of James and Ger. However Cloonagh having eventually got their hands on the trophy last year won't want to give it up easily, while you never know what might come out of the 'heigue or the other teams. Something to look forward to in the run up to Christmas!

Clothes Collection for St. Patrick's NS.
The Parents Association in the school have organised a recycling clothes collection at the school on Monday 24th November. All donations of old clothes, shoes etc. can be left at the school that morning before 9.30am or given to any member of the Parents Association Committee.

Community Alert
Our text alert system in conjunction with An Garda Siochana is now in place. If you would like to subscribe to receive SMS text alerts or would like further information, then please email [email protected] or text the club phone on 087 9211448.

Walking Track
The lights are on around our walking track on Tuesday's and Friday's from 19:30 to 22:00. This year has been much busier so far with lots of people keeping fit by either walking or running. A number of the footballers are using it around 8pm and it's great to see the buzz of activity on the cold winter evenings

National Club Draw
Following the success of this years draw, we are taking part in the GAA National Club Draw again. There are great prizes to be won when the draw takes place on March 17th at the National Club Finals in Croke Park. Tickets are now available to clubs and we will have them available for sale in the coming weeks. They cost €10 and all ticket proceeds can be retained by our club so please dig deep and support the club as it is one of our main fundraising events.

Other News
Congratulations to Cathal Tynan who celebrated his 21st birthday recently. Cathal only returned from New York along with Colin O'Brien last week. Welcome home lads! Speaking of 21st's, we want to send birthday wishes to Catherine Ennis, Killeenlahan, who celebrated a special birthday last week. It may not have been her 21st but can't be much along with it having seen her style in The Bodhran last Saturday night!
