Garrycastle's James Dolan admits that there is nothing more special than playing in a county final.
The Athlone border club are back in the county final for the first time since 2012 when they lost out to Sunday's opponents Mullingar Shamrocks after a replay.
Before that they completed a three-in-a-row of county titles, winning a Leinster title and reaching an All-Ireland club final during that period.
So, they are certainly not short of experience, but Dolan admitted to the Westmeath Independent that you never get tired of playing in county finals.
"It's always special when you're in a county final - no matter how many you have played in. I think the more experienced players in the side will tell you that," said Dolan.
"For any footballer, playing in a county final is what it's all about and there all very special days, but more so when you come out on the right end of the score line, which is what it's all about at the end of the day."
