U12 Boys
St Lomans U12's travelled to Co Cavan on Saturday last for an inter-county tournament. The lads were based in Moynalty and won all three group games against Kells, Munster Connaught(Cavan) and Knockmilebridge(Cavan).
The blues then travelled to the main venue in Mullagh for a quarter final with Westmanstown Gaels (Dublin) and again worked hard to win to set up a Division 1 semi final with Cootehill. Despite a below par first half performance which saw St Lomans five points down at half time they came back to win by a point.
Castleknock proved to be a formidable opposition in the final which ended in defeat. To travel to this sixteen team tournament and end up in the Division 1 final was a great achievement and well done to all the players and management for representing the club on the day.
U10 Boys
The U10s are winding down for 2014! The boys recently took part in two tournaments run by Shandonagh and Coralstown Kinnegad! All players displayed some great football! We would like to thank the two host clubs for the invitations to their well run and enjoyable events!
The boys enjoyed a well earned season ending treat with a visit to Fossetts circus recently! Thanks again to Fossetts for having us! The Ringmaster commented on how well behaved the boys were  although she had to admonish a couple of parents who were getting a bit over excited!!
Girls Academy
Our U6, U8 and U10 girls brought their season to a conclusion last Saturday. It has been a very busy year with plenty of games throughout. The benefit of these games can clearly be seen in the massive improvement all of the girls have made since we started out at the beginning of March.
It takes a lot of work to manage the girls throughout an eight month season. Particular thanks must go to Stephanie, Muireann, Marcella, Brendan, Therese, Clara, Keith and Chantelle for giving their time on so many Saturday mornings. Thanks also to everyone else that helped out at training and matches at various stages throughout the year. We also recognise the support from all of the parents which has ensured great turnouts at matches and training alike all season.
Enjoy the winter break. We look forward to seeing you all again next spring!
Golf Society
The Golf Society Christmas outing takes place in Castle Barna Golf Club this Saturday October 25th at 12 noon with Hampers for prizes! The fee for the day is €30 which includes tea and scones. All are welcome to take part. Contact Paul Mc Gann on 087 6287039 for further information.

Lotto
There was no jackpot winner from the lotto draw on October 15th. The numbers drawn were 5,14,20,25. Winners of €50 each were Kate Matthews, Marie Kiernan, Eamon Clinton & Leo Irwin. Next week's jackpot will be €7,100.
1500 Club Draw
The September 1500 Club Draw took place recently. The top prize this month of €1,300 was won by Ollie Lee, Castlepollard. Tracey Corrigan won €400 while Kay Cunningham, Una Bergin and Mary Kelly collected €130 each. Congratulations to all our winners!
