Coughlan Cup Final
The year 2014 will live long in Moate All Whites memories as their list of success continues in various competitions.  On Sunday they continued their exceptional run of form as Moate All Whites Under 10s met a tough and resilient opponent in neighbours Rosemount, and both teams so closely matched that a period of extra time was required to separate the two, and even so by a narrow margin.  Again the lucky spectators were treated to a performance of quality skill energy determination and entertainment from Moate and Rosemount but All Whites took scores up to the last minute to secure the win.
Congratulations to Moate All Whites Coordinator Vinny Henry and the victorious team of Alex Kaminskis, Michael Murray, Tim Ross, Sean Fuery, Michael Henry, Tobby Contae,  Darragh Lowry, Eoin Bracken, Stephen Madden, Dean O'Neill, Sam Fanin, Eoin Raleigh, Dean Broderick, Tommy Gorman, James Murray, Aodhan Curran, Cian Egan, Robbie Costello, Hagen Niall, Conor Duffy, Peter McDonald, Sean McManus, Oisín Dowling.

Tournament Acknowledgements -
A special thanks to our main sponsors for the tournament McDonalds, Athlone through Seán Corcoran. His continued support of this competition is greatly appreciated.
We would like to acknowledge the wonderful contribution made by all the young players in this tournament. They have shown great sportsmanship and determination added to no shortage of skill. We pay tribute to the parents for kitting them out and presenting them so well for matches. Without parents' enthusiasm and encouragement our games could not prosper to such an extent.  Much credit must go the mentors who train, direct and inspire these stars of the future. Mentors have been frequently seen promoting fair play to their players and displaying great respect to their opponents.
A sincere thank you to our local referees Martin Seery, Jordan Nugent, Enda Kelly, Joe Sheerin and Ciarán Henson and to today's referees Martin Seery, Declan Nugent and Niall Ward. We'd like to thank all the linesmen and umpires who are officiating today as well all who helped out on the day. For the promotion of the games by PRO Dermot Walshe and for the wonderful presentation of the pitches & grounds by Joe Sheerin - a big thank you as well. We hope you have enjoyed the tournament and look forward to seeing these players develop through the grades and on to represent the maroon of Westmeath in the future.
