Underage Training
All Underage Training continues on Tuesday evenings, U8 @ 6-7pm and U10 @ 7-8pm . All new members welcome. 

U14 : Play Fr Daltons in the Semi-Final in Clonkill  on Saturday 18th October @ 12.30. 

Senior  Championship
All roads lead to Cusack Park  this Sunday 19th Oct. for the 2014 Senior Hurling Final.  After a 9 year wait we are back in the Final.  Best wishes to all the players, mentors and all involved.   A huge Pollard support is expected in the Park to cheer on the team so if you're the last one to leave the "Town", will you please turn off the lights!!

Club merchandise
Club merchandise including flags big and small, car flags etc. will be available for purchase later on in the week. Please

Condolences
Condolences to the Thornton family on the death of James (Jimmy) Thornton, Pakenhamhall Road, Castlepollard,
on Thursday, October 9th.   Jimmy was a great supporter of the club and was also a very generous sponsor particularly at underage level down the years. He played for 'Pollard and Captained the clubs first ever Minor Championship winning Team in 1956. The following year he played on the County Minor team . Jimmy will be sadly missed by our Club and Community. We extend our sympathies to his brother Eddie (Toronto), sisters Tessie, Ita (Toronto) and Julia (Florida relatives and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.

Condolences to the  family of Rose REILLY (née Brady)Coole, Castlepollard, who died on Wed. 8th October.  To her husband Ben, daughters Carol, Sheila, Lisa and Caitríona, relatives and friends we offer our deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace.

Bingo
Our weekly Bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex.  There was no winner of the Main Jackpot of  €15,000 last Sunday night.. Our 2nd Jackpot of €10,000 was not won and now stands at €10,100.   

Lotto Draw
Our Lotto Draw took place during Bingo on Sunday 28th September. The numbers drawn were :- 10,24,25,26. There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:
1. Martin Murphy, Miltown.
2. Christina Fitzpatrick, c/o Bingo.
3. Sean Fitzsimons, Slieveboy, Castlepollard.
4. Angela Gibbons, Castlepollard.
5. Tom Davitt, Kiltoom.

Our next draw will take place at the Bingo on Sunday 26th October 2014. New Jackpot will be €7,400.
