Westmeath Junior Championship Final Replay
Clonkill 0-10
St. Brigid's 1-06
After finishing level at the final game on 20th September, it was no surprise that Clonkill and St. Brigid's were difficult to separate once again last Sunday in the replay of the final which was played at St. Oliver Plunkett's GAA Grounds. By half time St. Brigid's had an advantage of having scored a goal and led 1-03 to 0-04. However as in the previous game, Clonkill fought hard to work their way back and at the final whistle they secured a win by just a one point margin. Congratulations to Clonkill who are now the Junior champions for 2014 and well done to both teams on their great exciting and close games.

Leinster Junior Club Championship.
The county senior champions Lough Lene Gaels do not get much breathing space as they line out next Saturday in the preliminary round of the Leinster club championship when they will play Meath County Champions Kilmessan. Kilmessan defeated Dunboyne in their county final on Sunday.  As this is a home game for Meath we expect the game to be probably played in Kilmessan on Saturday afternoon (Exact details of the fixture have yet to be confirmed). Best wishes to Lough Lene Gaels in the game.
