U10 Boys:
Last Thursday evening saw the last group game in the Clann tournament when the lads made the short trip down the M6 to Ballinasloe. As the Indian summer sun was fast fading, the U10 lads shook hands with their Ballinasloe counterparts after having shared the spoils in the two games. We had twenty eight players on the night and the effort put in by each and every one of them was a credit. They displayed their skills to all present in what turned out to be a great night's entertainment. Great credit to both teams as the football on display was of the highest order with some of the score taking very impressive. With all seven rounds now complete, the stage is set for the finals night next Thursday in Johnstown. Athlone have qualified for the B final where they will renew their rivalry with Ballinasloe. U14 Girl's
Best of luck to our U14 girls team who will participate in the Killmacud All-Ireland 7s competition this Saturday 27th September.
Underage Girls
A bag pack will take place this Friday 26th and Saturday 27th in Supervalu Monksland. This is the only fundraiser for our underage girls.
