Junior Championship
This Saturday 20th, we take on Kilbeggan Shamrocks in the semi final of the Junior Championship. Throw-in is at 3.15 in Shandonagh. We appreciate all the support that we have received in all our matches this season to date but we are now asking for another effort for everybody to get out and support the lads. All the preparation is now done. Kilbeggan are a decent team and we are confident that the game itself will be a good one.
Underage
Our under fourteen team won their last game of the group stage of the championship, against Rosemount. The game finished 4-09 to 2-11 to Multy with a last minute goal right at the end to seal a deserved victory for our young stars. The game itself was a good one but it was the greater determination shown by Multy which won it for them in the end. We now have another semi-final to look forward to for the young lads. Under fourteen has always been a good age group for us with many players from previous groups going on to be very successful adult players for the club, so with another semi for the current bunch we are hoping with the proper support now and going forward, the rewards could be great.
