Under 21s Championship Semi-final
Castledaly 4-11 Shandonagh 1-12
A great team effort in second half saw Castledaly battle to a well deserved victory in this tough game against a strong Shandonagh team. Scores from Darragh Kelly, Lorcan Dolan, Aaron Sheerin, Chris Claffey , David Stone, secured the win while in defence Eanna Duffy pulled off a number of quality saves.  Patrick Holloway was in control of midfield while defensively James Farrell Neil Young Paul Costello Damien Stone Shane Dolan gave the visitors a tough task.
Several scores highlighted the quality of the team - Darragh Kelly exchanged passes with Paul Costello, Damien Stone, David Stone, before Kelly continued his run from corner back to get on the end of the move and tap over a fabulous point.  Shandonagh continued to provide a tough physical challenge and Castledaly were reduced to ten men when Paul Henson received a red card.  Castledaly continued to win possession and free kicks with Holloway, Farrell, Costello, & Young in fine form. Castledaly finished the game out with a well taken David Stone score and two goal of quality and style from Lorcan Dolan and Aaron Sheerin.  A place in the final is the reward for their efforts and an improved performance should see them in with a very good chance.

Senior Championship - Castledaly 4-13 The Downs 2-09

Castledaly Seniors produced the performance of heart and determination that has been sorely missed in previous outings this year, and sees them involved in relegation play off against Athlone in a few weeks.

The Downs started strongest and Castledaly struggled but fought back valiantly to equalise at half time despite being reduced to 14men early in first half.
Patrick Holloway replaced Gordon Duffy in midfield at halftime as Castledaly's Fitzpatrick, Stone, Heavin, Warburton, Darragh Kelly, Adrian Kelly, continued to battle, plunder & retrieve possession again and again, setting McLoughlin, Dolan, Paul Kelly, MJ Kelly, Eamon Fleming,  to raid forward creating chances. McLoughlin and Dolan's accurate passing and free kicks were invaluable, punishing fouls from both sides of the pitch. Lorcan Dolan added two goals in as many minutes before Gordon Duffy, David Stone, and Shane Dolan replaced Eamon Fleming, McLoughlin, and Heavin as their high work rate exhausted their energy levels.

Team= Eanna Duffy, John Warburton, Liam Fitzgerald, Adrian Kelly, Darragh Kelly, Alan Stone, Derek Heavin, Niall Duffy, Gordon Duffy, MJ Kelly, Paul Kelly, Enda Kelly, \Lorcan Dolan, Eamon Fleming, MJ McLoughlin.   Subs used Patrick Holloway for Gordon Duffy, David Stone for McLoughlin, Shane Dolan for Heavin, Niall O Neill, Aaron Sheerin, Brendan Fitzgerald, Brendan Kelly, Christopher Claffey, Paul Costello, Neil Young, Damien Stone, Shane Fitzpatrick,
