Westmeath Camogie notes

Leinster Minor Championship
Westmeath 2-08

Pride of place this week must go to the Under 18s representing Westmeath in the opening game of the Leinster Championship in St. Oliver Plunkett's GAA Grounds last Sunday. There is no doubt but that there are an exceptional group of players at this age group and despite Dublin leading at half time on a score line of Dublin 2-02 to Westmeath 1-03 the team showed great heart and determination to run out winners with a great second half. Well done the team and mentors.
