Clogher points to poor finishing

Castledaly manager Seamus Clogher believes that they must be more ruthless on front of goals.

The 2008 county champions are still seeking their first win in this year's campaign and this weekend face a tough test against Mullingar Shamrocks.

"Our position is largely down to not scoring enough. We created 24 scoring chances against Killucan and only took eight points," Clogher told the Westmeath Independent.

"That's simply not enough. We were all over the place in the first game against Maryland and had problems all over the pitch. We improved against St Loman's and were within three points of them in the closing stages. But the biggest disappointment was losing against Killucan, a game we should have won."
