Castledaly and winning numbers results next week. Jackpot 4800euro.
Results
ACFL Div2 Castledaly 3-08 v Rosemount 1-12.
Castledaly can feel very lucky as a Patrick Holloway goal from a Paul
Kelly pass on the 9th minute and a Paul Kelly goal on 22nd minutes
kept them in this game in the first half. Pat Holloway, Niall
O'Neill, Liam Fitzpatrick and Brendan Kelly set Paul Kelly up for our
only first half point on 28th min before Rosemount replied with point
from play leaving half time score 2.01 to 05.
An improved second half saw Gordon Duffy started at full forward,
replacing Claffey as Darragh Kelly moving to corner back. Brendan
Kelly score a freekicks for fouls on Lorcan Dolan & Paul Kelly. David
Stone set Fergal Hynes up for a point before adding his own minutes
later. Gordon Duffy speculative ball into the square was punched to
the net by vigilant Paul Kelly. Pat Holloway and Enda Kelly set David
Stone up for another point before another Gordon Duffy speculative
high ball into the square bounced over the bar. Niall Duffy & Enda
Kelly were working hard in defence but Rosemount found the Castledaly
net after 54 minutes. Liam Fitzpatrick was replace by Shane Dolan
(black card) before a Pat Holloway long ball into the corner was
gathered by Eoin Fleming, who turned and scored Castledaly final
point. Rosemount responded with points from play but the home team had
done enough to secure victory against a strong opposition.
