St Marys GAA club notes

April 14, 2014
acfl d6 (lakepoint park)
St.Marys Rochfortbridge 2.05 St.Lomans 0.16
This was a game with some fine scoring. Both sides played well. With st.marys with a very young team this wasnt a bad day out.management can take alot from this game, early in the year and alot of football to be played this year.Just coming up a bit short in the end.

Fe 14 (Fr o Brien park Rochfortbridge)
The game got going with both teams showing some fine skills.St.marys got some fine scores in this game, but kilucan were the team that got the first few goals in this game,St.Marys kept on going and kept working extremely hard in this game.kilucan went in with the lead at half time and the second half was just as good a battle.st.marys u 14 just came up short in the end. This was the first game for st.marys so great to get out and get going.Alot of football to be played yet.

Minor league (Fr o Brien park rochfortbridge)
St.Marys 3.05 Caulry 2.11
This was a right good battle from the start and both sides put in some shift in this game.It was tight the whole way through and anyone who travelled to watch this wasnt disapointed. We seen some fine long range points and some well tooked goals.Early in the season for both teams and all will be pleased with how the game went,Its all progress.result not in our favour but a huge possitives from this one.
