Kilbeggan Shamrocks GAA Notes

April 13, 2014
Division 7b v Milltown

We suffered our second defeat in Division 7b of the All-County League last Saturday evening at the hands of Milltown.

Played in St. James' Park, the visitors were always in control and emerged as comfortable 2-15 to 0-9 winners.

The attention next weekend switches back to Division 3 where will be in action against The Downs. After losing to Ballymore and Ballynacargy in the first two rounds, we'll be hoping it's a case of third lucky when we travel to The Downs on Saturday (throw-in 4pm).

This will be our second last outing in Division 3 - we will be at home to St. Loman's on May 5 - before we face our underage partners St. Joseph's in the first round of the JFC on Sunday, May 11.

U14 v The Downs

Kilbeggan / St. Joseph's U14 team produced a great performance last Thursday evening, April 10 to defeat The Downs by 4-18 to 5-4 in St. James' Park. A dominant first half display laid the foundations for the 11-point victory, with the visitors never leading at any stage.
