As you are by now aware the championship fixtures are due to begin on Friday 31stJuly.
The government health guidelines currently allow for an attendance at outdoor events of 500 people. In the case of the GAA this figure includes the 2 participating teams + backroom staff, all personnel working at the venue and spectators.
Westmeath GAA have, based on advise and direction from Croke Park, taken the decision that during the current attendance restrictions admittance to all championship fixtures will be by ticket only (FIXTURES WILL BE ALL TICKET).
Tickets will be available to clubs to purchase from TEG Cusack Park on the Monday prior to the match, to assist with ensuring that club members and supporters have their tickets Tickets will be priced @ €10 for everyone and there will be a refund at the match venue of €5 for Students, Oap’s and Children Under the age of 12.
Tickets will also be on sale through Centra and Super value outlets and also online at

Tickets purchased online will be either “print at home” or downloaded to your phone for scanning at the venue.
We understand that this may cause an inconvenience to patrons attending our fixtures, but in these unique and unprecedented times Westmeath have taken these decisions in the interest of health & safety of all.

A reminder for all players/coaches and parents to fill out the health questionnaire before returning to training each evening to ensure safety for all memebers.
