By now, our adult and most juvenile age groups are back training which is great news. Plans are underway to bring our youngest age groups back soon. Our thanks to all the mentors, coaches, managers and covid supervisors who have played a blinder so far to ensure our safe return to play. However we cannot stress enough the importance of completing the online health questionaire before every training session or game and also to please adhere to the social distancing guidelines while in GAA grounds. The recent cases of clubs in Cork and elsewhere, having to suspend activities are real examples of how we could find ourselves back in lockdown mode so it's everyones responsiblity to play their part for the greater good of all.
Junior Football Championship
The fixture has been announced and we play last years county finalists, CFCW, in the opening round our this years championship in Springfield on Sunday 2nd August at 1pm. Please be aware that it has been announced to clubs that championship fixtures for 2020 will be all ticket affairs. Tickets will be available to clubs to purchase from TEG Cusack Park on the Monday prior to the match, to assist with ensuring that club members and supporters have their tickets (Tickets must be paid for on collection by the club) before going on general sale on Tuesday. Tickets will be priced @ €10 for everyone and there will be a refund at the match venue of €5 for Students, Oap’s and Children Under the age of 12. Tickets will also be on sale through Centra and Super value outlets and also online at https://westmeathgaa.tickets.ie . Tickets purchased online will be either “print at home” or downloaded to your phone for scanning at the venue.

Junior Football Championship vs CFCW in Springfield on Sunday 2nd August at 1pm
Irish Farm Plastics Collection
The IFFPG are collecting farm plastics at our grounds this Wednesday, 15th July.

Congratulations to Michael and Laura Gannon in the birth of their baby daughter Rose Maria. Congrats also to club footballer,Conan Feery, who celebrated his 21st recently.
