The club sends its best wishes to club stalwart, Seamus Ennis, who is recovering following his recent hip replacement.

County Teams

Plenty of locals in action over the weekend. Well done to Fiona Claffey and Tommy McDaniel who both featured in positive results for our county seniors at the weekend. Fiona played at centre half back in Westmeath's four point win over Donegal in Division 1 of the National league while Tommy came in as a sub in Westmeath's incredible comeback against Armagh in Mullingar. Hard luck to Darragh Seery who played at wing back for Westmeath U20's in their heart-breaking defeat against Laois in the quarter final of the Leinster championship last Monday. Westmeath lost 4:3 on penalties after extra time. Laois subsequently won their semi-final against Kildare on Friday evening.
