National League Pools
With no games called off and with two draws in Round 4 of the NFL scoring was high with several entries in the high teens. Eoin Glennon was this week's winner on 20 points followed in second place on 19 points by Colm Geoghegan, Joe Glennon and Mick Neary. In third place on 18 points we had John Quinn and Tommy Lynch. Thanks to all who entered and to our local pubs for stocking the pools sheets which are great fun for only €3 per sheet with €50 for the winner so get your predictions in before Saturday evening for next weekend’s predictions on Round 5 of the National Football Leagues.

Awards Night

On Saturday last we hosted our Table Quiz and Awards night. Congratulations to our winners!
Neal Kirby was our Golden Boot receiver for this year. Neal was our top scorer between league & championship! Morgan Gavigan is our Young Player of the Year. Morgan’s outstanding contribution to our intermediate team could not go unrecognised. Aaron Glennon is our Senior Player of the Year. Aaron was our Young player of the year 2018. Aaron’s first year as senior and he proved to be such a fantastic asset to the team. Tommy Lynch is our Clubman of the Year. Tommy has contributed an immense amount of time & effort in the club, community and development over the past number of years. He’s a very worthy winner of this presentation. Thanks to everyone who came along on the night. We appreciate the support and believe everyone had a great evening! Thanks to Matt Kirby for his questions, Joanne Killian for her amplification and Andrew Drake for the use of his premises.

Membership

Membership is now due for 2020 and can be given to either John Cassidy or Pat Garvin. The players reps are Conor Kane and David Lynch who will collect from the players. It costs just €20 for adult members and €10 for students which is more than reasonable and with the added incentive of all paid up members being entered for our club's allocation of All Ireland tickets.
