St Stephen's Day Fun Run / Walk

Dermot Smith is holding his annual Fun Run / Walk on St. Stephen's Day.

It is open to all ages and is a great opportunity to get involved in a community effort to raise much-needed funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin, while also blowing off the Christmas excesses!

Meeting place is The Parish Centre and the event starts at 12 noon. The course is 6km. For more information, contact Dermot on 087 7767887.

Nigel Scally

It was great to see Nigel Scally make his first appearance in nearly two years for the Westmeath senior footballers in their O'Byrne Cup first round win over Wexford last Saturday. Here's hoping he will see more action when Meath visit TEG Cusack Park next weekend.
