Condolences

Clonkill Hurling Club extends its deepest sympathy to the following families on their recent bereavements:

The Kiely Family, Cloughan on the death of Jim Kiely, may he rest in peace

The Tormey Family, Cloughan on the death of Marian Tormey may she rest in peace.

Annabel’s All Stars

A committee has been set up and they are in the process of organizing a Fun day and 7 aside Hurling Tournament with many other fun activities, for Saturday the 17th of August next, more details to follow

Division 1 League Final

Clonkill take on Lough Lene Gaels in the Division 1 League Final this Thursday the 27th of June at 7.30pm in TEG Cusack Park. All Support Welcome, Best of Luck Lads.

Underage Training

Underage Training continues at the following times:

New player always welcome

Under 6 & Under 8 – 4pm to 5pm

Under 10 - 5pm to 6pm

Under 12 - 6pm to 7pm

Bus to Joe McDonagh Final – Croke Park 30th of June

We are running a bus to Croke Park for the Joe McDonagh Final on the 30th of June next

Loughegar National Schools Final.

Well done to Loughegar National School who participated in the Four Finals recently

Girls Football, Girls Camogie, Boys Hurling and Boys Football.

It was a fantastic achievement and whilst the Boys were the only successful team in the Hurling it is remarkable to reach these finals.

Well done to all involved.

Well Done to Loughegar National School who were awarded a 5 Star Centre Flag, one of the first 7 schools in Ireland to be awarded it, great achievement.

Community Games Long Puck

Well done to Jamie Kellaghan who came first in the Lough Puck in the Community Games and now advances to the next stage

Cul Camp – Clonkill

The Cul Camp will be running in Clonkill GAA Grounds from the 1st of July to 5th of July.

Loughegar Community Playground

After a lot of hard work from the Loughegar Community Playground Committee, namely Anthony Carey, David Scally, Roisin Slevin and Declan Leonard the Playground is now open to the public.

This is a fantastic facility within the community and seems to be going done a treat with all the local children.

Registration

Registration is now overdue and please make immediate contact with either Derek McGrath or Fergal Fagan for details of prices for all memberships and to arrange payment

 

Clothes Collection

Our Clothes Collection is ongoing, you can drop of bags of unwanted clothes at any of the training times for the Hurling or Camogie Team or contact Declan Leonard for drop off if these times are not suitable.

 

Draw for All Ireland Tickets

We holding a draw with the lucky winner winning the very sought after prize of All Ireland Tickets.

Lines are €2.00 each or 3 for €5.00 and can be purchased from any underage player, or committee member.
