Goalkeeper Paddy Carroll, full back Tommy 'Jogger' Doyle and attacking twins Killian and Ciaran Doyle have been surprisingly left out of the Westmeath team for tomorrow's Allianz Hurling League Division 2A final against Kerry.

All four are usually automatic choices, but Raharney youngster Aaron McHugh keeps his place in goal after starting against Mayo last Sunday, while Conor Shaw continues at full back. Darragh Egerton, Gary Greville, Aaron Craig, captain Aonghus Clarke, Shane Power, Shane Clavin, Joey Boyle, Allan Devine, Robbie Greville and Cormac Boyle all return after sitting out the Mayo game for which the Lake County fielded a near second string line-up.

Westmeath (SH v Kerry): Aaron McHugh; Darragh Egerton, Conor Shaw, Gary Greville; Aaron Craig, Paul Greville, Aonghus Clarke (captain); Shane Power, Shane Clavin; Derek McNicholas, Niall Mitchell, Joey Boyle; Allan Devine, Robbie Greville, Cormac Boyle.
