Rosemount club notes

Registration for 2019 takes place on Friday 18th January at 7pm - 8pm and again on Sunday 20th at 10.30am - 11.30am. Please note that all players must be registered before they play football in 2019, as otherwise they are NOT insured and will not be allowed play any matches.

 

The Paidi O’Se Tournament takes place in Ventry Co Kerry on Saturday and Sunday the 16th & 17th of February this year. All are welcome to attend. If you have any queries around the event, please send a message to the Gaa Facebook page or contact any committee member. Just to note, all those traveling are responsible for organizing and booking there own transport and accommodation for the weekend. 

 

Rosemount Gaa club gear is now available on the O’Neills website. There are various different items of gear including socks , shorts, t-shirt’s, jackets, tracksuit bottoms and hoodies and all Include the club crest. You must register on the O’Neills website before you can make any purchases. 

 

Well done to Sean Pettit, Eoin Carberry,  Boidu Sayeh & Theo Watts who were part of the Westmeath senior football panel who defeated Longford last Saturday in the Bord na Mona O'Byrne Cup semi final. They now play Dublin in the final this weekend. Well done to the lads, the players, Jack Cooney and his management team.

Applications for Gaeltacht Scholarships for 2019 are now open. CLG Iarmhí in conjunction with Club Iarmhí will sponsor 6 part scholarships to Coláistí Samhraidh and applications are invited from your club members. The form can be obtained from the club secretary and should also be returned to the club secretary. Closing date is the 08th of February.
