Club AGM

Our Annual General Meeting was rescheduled last week and will now take place on Saturday 15th of December in the meeting room. All welcome as we review the year gone and plan for 2019.

 

A visit from Taoiseach 

On Friday of last week we welcomed Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to officially open our new floodlights. Thanks to all who helped out on the day and to Aoife Mullen for providing photos.

 

Gear Shop

Our Club Gear Shop upstairs in the clubhouse will be open this Fri 14th and Fri 21st Dec from 7pm to 8pm all queries to Carmel 087 9496347. Lots of stocking fillers available including our 125 Book and 2019 Calendar.

 

125 Book
We are delighted that our 125 book is now available to buy at just €20 from the following outlets: Rochfort's Dominick St, Millie Walsh's Maxol Dublin Road, Fagan's Pearse St, Just Books Pearse St, Flynn Fuels The Downs and A & J Newsagents Coralstown. Thanks to all of the above for their co-operation.

2019 Calendar 

Our annual calendar is now available to buy from Flynn Fuels, Mullingar Opticians Dominic Street and our club bar. Featuring over 100 colour photographs from another action packed year for the club, all proceeds go to our underage coaching programme. Just €10 each or 2 for €15 while stocks last. Well done to our Novelty Act and storytelling with Emily Shaw in representing The Downs in the Leinster semi-final last Saturday. Emily Shaw successfully got through to the Leinster Final in Wexford on Sunday January 13th.
