Gaa: Our u20’s qualified for the semi final of this years championship with a well deserved win over Mullingar Shamrocks on a wintry November’s evening last Saturday in Rosemount. We started very brightly with good scores from Ben Cox and Aaron Nugent. Mullingar then kicked into gear , and struck for a goal after the ball re-bounded off the post. This seemed to kick our lads into gear , Aaron Nugent then kicked a fine score from play , followed by two more well taken scores from Sean Pettit and Plunkett Maxwell. The second half was where we really took over, and opened up the Mullingar defense to keep the scoreboard ticking over,  with that we managed to pull away to win on a score of: Rosemount / Castledaly 4.20, to Mullingar’s 1.06. We now play St Lomans in the semi final. Details to follow. 

 

Rosemount GAA Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday the 2nd of December in the community centre at 6pm. All we welcome.

 

Walking track Lights in the park are now on from 7.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday.

 

Table Quiz Friday 23rd November at 8.30pm in the hall. All proceeds will go towards the new community playground. All support appreciated. 

 

Rosemount Gaa club gear is now available on the O’Neills website. There are various different items of gear including socks , shorts, t-shirt’s, jackets, tracksuit bottoms and hoodies and all Include the club crest. You must register on the O’Neills website before you can make any purchases.
