Garrycastle 1-5   

Moate welcomed Garrycastle to Hogan Park for a semi-final meeting last Sunday. This was an entertaining game with Moate holding a slender lead at half-time. Garrycastle scored a goal early in the second half and took the lead, however Moate pushed on to win with the help of a goal well finished by Reece Jones and a couple of fine scores by Conor Bracken.

Street League

Our Street League continues this Friday and as always has been hugely enjoyable. This year finals are being held on Sunday 14th October in Hogan Park and will be the serve as the year end wrap-up for our U10s/U8s and U6s.

Best wishes to Ambrose

Many thanks to trainer Ambrose McGowan who moves on after two years with us. Ambrose leaves us in good shape going forward and his personal traits of integrity and decency, combined with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the game, have left us in no doubt as to why he is so widely regarded. We wish Ambrose and his family all the best for the future. We also thank his selectors Nigel, David and Tommy who put so much work in over the last two years.
