Under 8 Blitz

Very well done to our U8s who participated in the county blitz recently in TEG Cusack Park.. It was fantastic to see such a great turn out. 29 players took part and represented our club with great pride. Congratulations to Liam Doyle, Ben Loughlin, Adam Kernigan, Ben Kelleghan Flynn, Rocco Sheilds, James McHugh, Evan Connolly, Michael Brennan, Diarmuid Graham, Luka John Fitzsimons, Conor Reillagh, Eoghan Craig, Calum Cleary, James Nea, Alexander Graham, Paídí Slevin, Harry Brennan, Ciarán McGrath, Padraig Craig, Mathew O'Brien, Daniel Morgan, Colm Clinton, Ben Carroll, Cormac MGgrath, Aiden Tuite, Killian Gavin, Michael Long & Killian Raleigh. Under 14 Hurling Team

Well done to  our  Under 14 Team who played St Vincent’s on the 06th of September in Clonkill and had a great win.

 

 

Intermediate Hurlers

Our Intermediate Hurlers have played 3 further rounds of the Championship.

We played Turin on the 24th of August and we won this match, we then played  Crookedwood  on Friday evening last the 31st of August  and  were beaten, we also played Ringtown on the 05th of September and this  game ended in a draw .

 

Senior Hurlers

Our Senior Hurlers played in TEG Cusack on the 1st of September.

Our opponents were Castletown Geoghegan and we won this game.

Clonkill now qualify for a quarter final position more details to follow.

We wish Anthony Price a speedy recovery who sustained a head injury in this game.

 

Dan McCarthy

Clonkill Hurling Club would like to express their deepest sympathy to the McCarthy Family on the death of Dan.

Dan was always on hand to help with the Club, Community and  the Local School.

A true gentleman.

Defibulator – Location

The Defibulator has been placed on the wall of the Play School which is opposite our Hurling Pitch, a list of names and numbers are provided with people who have done a course and are qualified to use this device, please familiarise yourself with the location, in case of emergency.
