Senior Championship Round 5: Athlone 5-11 Killucan 0-8

Hard luck to all the players and management who put in such a great effort during a year where we didn't have any luck with injuries and players missing for various reasons.

Despite this many players got to experience senior championship football for the first time and with a good group of minor and u16 players coming through the future definitely looks bright.

We would like to thank the management team of Mark Conway, Stephen Kennedy and David Carr and everyone else who helped out in numerous ways throughout the year.

Let's look ahead to 2019 where we will play in Group 2 of the senior championship with optimism.
