Minor Div 2 Championship

Moate 2-05

Multyfarnham 4-10

On Monday evening last we played our first game in Group D of Division 2 Championship. We travelled to Multyfarnham to take on the home side. On what was an ideal evening for a game of football, but missing four of our five of our panel it was always going to an uphill struggle to get a result.  The home side started the stronger and despite the best efforts of our lads we just couldn't seem to get to grips with them. At half time we were down by six points. The second half started with our lads coming more into the game and indeed we did manage to trouble Multyfarnham, but the six point lead was a step too far for our lads on this occasion.

Last Wednesday evening in Hogan Park, Moate produced a terrific performance to defeat a strong Downs outfit. David Grenham was on top form in defence and goalkeeper Oisin Murray also had an impressive game. Well taken goals by Tobby Conteh and Eoghan Curran proved decisive.

Annual Golf Classic 28th July

Time sheet is filling up fast for our annual golf classic which takes place on Saturday 28th July. Tee times 9am to 4pm with refreshments on the 8th hole. Kelloggs GAA Cul Camp

This year's camp is being held on Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August at our new pitch. Open to boys and girls - between the ages of 6 and 13 - with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.
