Westmeath and Meath fans are in for a treat of GAA action if they travel to TEG Cusack Park in Mullingar on Sunday.
The two counties play a double header with the senior hurlers meeting in the Joe McDonagh Cup at 1pm and the senior footballers meet in the twice postponed O'Byrne Cup final at 3pm.
"It is a great opportunity for fans from both counties to support their hurling and football teams on the same day," said Leinster Council PRO Martin O'Halloran.
"The gate receipts from the football game go to the Leinster Accident Fund - so patrons are supporting a worthy cause as well."
For over 50 years Leinster Council have run special competitions to raise money for GAA members in Leinster who are in need of special assistance. Admission to TEG Cusack Park on Sunday is €10 for adults with U16s free.
