Gaa - Our seniors took on Shandonagh in a challenge game last Saturday evening in the park. Having been finally been blessed with some dry weather, both teams were able to afford to play some expansive, attacking football. Shandonagh started brightly , and kicked two early points. We responded well with a fine point from play from Eamon Boland off his right foot , followed by a sweeping move which was finished to the net by David Tone. The second half started very much like the first with both sides trading points. However a strong finish by our lads, including two goals from Deccie Mullen and David Fox gave us the win in the end. We would like to wish Shandonagh all the best for the coming year. 

 

Fixture: Our Minors play St Lomans away this Wednesday, the 18th of April at 7pm. All support appreciated.

 

Walking track lights in the park are now on until 10pm Monday to Friday, and until 8.30pm Saturday & Sunday. Only those with membership paid are permitted and insured to use the walking track.
