Our u16 lads opened their league account with a victory over neighbours Mullingar Shamrocks, last Sunday Morning. In what were tough underground conditions the lads produced some excellent passages of play, leading 1-07 to 2-03 at half time. The lads defended brilliantly in the second half keeping their opponents to only two points, running out 3-13 to 2-05 winners. Well done to all involved.

Adult Leagues
We opened our competitive campaign in both division 1 and division 3 last weekend. The Division 1side lost out narrowly to Kinnegad 0-09 to 0-08, in tough conditions last Friday night. While the division 3 side held off a late St. Lomans comeback to run out one point winners 0-12 to 1-08.
