2018 Underage Season

 A well-attended meeting was held on Monday evening to prepare for the coming underage season.  Coach/Mentor development and the continued improvement of equipment and facilities were discussed.  Further details on the schedule for the year will be available to parents in the near future. Parents and club members who are interested in assisting our coaches are very welcome.

Mick Murtagh Memorial Table Quiz

Our Annual Michael Murtagh Table Quiz will take place on Friday 2nd March in Murray's, The Wood. Come along and bring a few friends for an evening of fun. Prizes and a raffle on the night.

Training

The Intermediate squad had a couple of good workouts during the week as training continues to be stepped up every week. Training will continue as per the manager's arrangements which all players will be kept informed of.

Walking Track

The walking track lights are on until 9pm every night if anyone wants to avail of a safe, clean area for a bit of exercise. Please note anyone wishing to avail of our facilities must have membership paid.

Westmeath GAA

Westmeath hurlers made it three from three at the weekend with a hard-fought win over Meath by the narrowest of margins. Our footballers had a good win over Wexford the previous weekend. Well done to all involved.

 Lotto: Latest results; 17/2/18, Jackpot €3550. Numbers drawn:13,23,26,28. No winner; €20 winners, Con Ryan, Patrick Duffy, Fintan Bardon. We are asking all members to support our lotto.The lotto draw is the financial lifeline of our club and we appreciate all support. Tickets can be bought in The Wood or from any committee member, alternatively annual tickets can be purchased for €100.
