Multyfarnham players celebrate with the Westmeath JFC silverware.

Multyfarnham manager Louis Ennis is confident that his charges can carry on their fantastic season for another while yet.

On Saturday, Multy host Offaly side Erin Rovers at Cusack Park, Mullingar in the Leinster club JFC final as they continue their remarkable run, having won their first county JFC title in 61 years last month.

And despite the fact that Erin Rovers recorded a comfortable win in a challenge match between the sides earlier in the year, Ennis is confident that if his charges play to their potential, they can add more silverware to their accolades for the year.

"Late last August, we played Erin Rovers in a mid week challenge under lights in their own pitch. We were very competitive with them for the first 20 minutes, but after that we were on the receiving end of a very heavy defeat where they totally overran us in the second half. They put up a huge score in the second half," Ennis told the Westmeath Independent.

He added: "The middle third is always a key area. That dictates a lot of the ball that goes into both the full back and full forward lines. We'll be trying to get a bit of dominance in that area.

"We are confident that we can win, but we will have to play to the maximum of our ability if we are to have any chance of beating this top-notch Pullough side."
