The first of the Waterford SHC quarterfinals sees a repeat of last year's county final.
Ballygunner beat Mount Sion on that occasion and the latter will be looking to gain some degree of revenge for that defeat on Saturday evening.
The defending champions cruised to victory last year, but their opponents go into this game in confident mood having come through a good test against Lismore last weekend.
Ballygunner will be without their talisman Pauric Mahony though and although they have coped without the county star up until now, it is a different story once the knockout stages are in play.
Nonetheless, they remain the team to beat and Mount Sion will have to be at their best to avoid a repeat of last year's result.
In the second quarterfinal of the weekend, Dungarvan take on Tallow and many have tipped the former to go on and win the title, but they face a stern test against Tallow.
