The end of Waterford hurlers' All-Ireland campaign means that the club scene returns with a bang.

And it is the turn of the club football championship to take centre stage this weekend as the remaining round 2 fixture take place in the senior football championship along with three third round Group One fixtures.

On Friday evening, Stradbally and An Rinn face off in the last round Two fixture, which the former will be expected to win.

There are three games down for decision on Saturday as Fraher Field hosts an attractive double head of Group One third round games.

First up is the meeting of Clashmore/Kinsalabeg and Ardmore and this is followed by the clash between Ballinacourty and Nire.

Carrickbeg will host the meeting of Rathgormack and De La Salle in the third of Saturday's matches.
