Waterford manager Derek McGrath is delighted to have defender Stephen Daniels back to full fitness.
Daniels came on for the injured Noel Connors as Waterford defeated Dublin in the All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal last Sunday afternoon.
This was the De La Salle's clubman's first outing in the championship since 2012 as a year later, he suffered a horrific knee injury that sidelined him for over a year.
With Connors rated as extremely doubtful for the All-Ireland SHC semi-final, Daniels would be the ideal deputy and McGrath told the Waterford News & Star that it was great to have him back in action.
"I was delighted that Stephen Daniels got on the field and contributed in such a good way as well," said McGrath.
"It's another feather to the bow of the panel. It was great to see him because he's had a long two years in terms of recovering from injury.
"I'm delighted for Stephen personally that his persistence in terms of his whole approach has finally paid dividends."
