Waterford minor selector Ray Murphy is confident that a number of the side that lost to Limerick in the Munster MHC will line out for the Decies' senior side in the future.

Murphy admitted to the Waterford News & Star that the defeat to Limerick was 'heart-breaking' and one that was not easy to take.

"It's heart-breaking. Look, there's marvellous talent in that team and we will see many of those lads donning the Waterford senior jersey in years to come," said Murphy.

"They really are great characters. They were up against it both days, nobody gave them a chance coming in this year and really they have had a marvellous effort."
