Two of the last four county finals of the year were down for decision this afternoon along with a number of provincial semi-finals.

The main attraction of the day was the Kilkenny senior hurling final from Nowlan Park, while in neighbouring Wexford, the senior football decider also took place.

Down in Munster, we brought you coverage of the club SFC semi-finals, while up in Ulster, the last four in the club SFC were also battling it out for a place in the final.

The first of the Leinster club senior hurling championship finals was down for decision later on as yet again we had another busy day in store.
