Record concerns Tracey

July 09, 2014
Waterford minor selector John Tracey admits that their recent record in Munster finals is a concern.

Losing three of the last five provincial deciders, the last of which was in the 2013 final when Sunday's opponents Limerick came out on top has meant that Waterford have a poor record in finals.

And Tracey admitted to the Waterford News & Star that they were determined to rectify that statistic starting with Sunday's encounter at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

"Waterford have only won one of the last four," stated Tracey. "Our return when we go to Munster final day, I would like to see an improvement in it.

"I'm sure every single one of the management team and more importantly, every single one of the squad would like to see a return on that. That's our focus now, to get a better return."
