Reade, Larry

April 12, 2011
There was deep sadness throughout the area when it was learned of the untimely death of Larry Reade. Larry gave his life to the GAA with St Mollerans and Carrick Swans, as well as serving referee in South Tipperary and Waterford and coached School and community games teams with great success. In his career with St Mollerans which spanned over three decades he represented Waterford hurlers at Minor, U-21 and Junior level.
In 1995 at the age of 39 he was part of the St Mollerans team that were crowned County Champions. Larry also gave a huge amount of his time training and coaching St Mollerans juveniles and was very proud of the fact that a number of players he had coached lined out with him in the county final in 1995. Larry was a great family man, a true gael, a GAA fanatic and remained so till the end. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
To his wife Breda, sons Kenny, Darren, Derek and Kieran, brothers, sisters, grandchildren his extended family and many friends, we offer our sincere sympathy.
