Waterford champions Ballygunner’s remarkable run in the county senior hurling championship continues after they recorded their 30th straight win last weekend.

The six-in-a-row chasing champions were made work all the way by a Tallow side who were very much in the game right up until the last couple of minutes.

‘Gunner went on to record a 2-19 to 1-17 victory and in doing so have guaranteed themselves a place in the quarterfinal.

Having won every Waterford senior hurling championship since 2013, Ballygunner are certainly the kingpins in the county and are well placed to continue that domination.
