The long dry spell has taken its toll on GAA pitches up and down the country.
Walsh Park resembled a desert for yesterday's All-Ireland senior camogie clash between Waterford and Limerick which resulted in a two-point victory for the home side.
Other parts of the country experienced rainfall for the first time in weeks last night and judging by the pictures from Walsh Park, they could badly do with some in the sunny south east as well.
