The much-delayed Waterford SFC is drawing to a close, with holders The Nire and Stradbally set to meet in the county final next Sunday at Fraher Field.
In today's semi-finals, Stradbally defeated Kilrossanty by 0-13 to 0-11, while The Nire had a fortuitous 3-8 to 2-10 victory over An Rinn.
Late points from Kevin Lawlor and Jack Mullaney saw Stradbally through to their 14th final in 17 years, while Shane Ryan's last-gasp fisted goal handed The Nire victory over a wasteful An Rinn side.
The Galway SHC final between Gort and Liam Mellows will also take place next Sunday in Pearse Stadium.
