Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes

October 09, 2017

The Footballers have qualified for the All-Britain Club Championship after an impressive win over Cu Chulainns on Saturday. Played at a fast pace throughout, two goals in the first half, one each from Conor Murphy and Mark McGirr, gave McCurtains a great platform at half time. The lads kicked on in the second half and a solid defensive effort kept the Cu's attack at bay allowing the forwards to do the damage at the other end.

Our Hurlers have finished their season as league champions after they received a walk/over from Brothers Pearse in the Final on Sunday.

Looking ahead to the next couple of weekends our Ladies Footballers will participate in the Club/University development 7-a-side tournament in Greenford next Saturday. Our Mens team await the Yorkshire champions in their All-Britain Championship Quarter-Final which is down to be played on the weekend of the 21st/22nd October.
