All-Ireland champs to make most of US trip

Limerick are set to visit a number of cities while in the US next week.

The squad are primarily travelling over for the Fenway Classic Hurling Tournament that will be played in Boston on November 18th reports the Limerick Leader.

However, members of the squad and management team will travel along with the Liam MacCarthy Cup to New York and Chicago as well.

Fundraisers have been organised in those cities and in Boston as the All-Ireland champions take advantage of the trip over stateside.

A number of counties have held successful fundraisers in the US in recent times and given the fact that Limerick won their first All-Ireland title since 1973 this year, support is sure to be high.

Details of the venues that Limerick will visit are below: Rory Dolan's Restaurant & Bar in Yonkers, New York on Thursday November 15th at 7pm.

The Bostonia Public House in Boston on Sunday November 18th at 8pm.

The final leg of the celebratory US tour is in Chicago on Tuesday November 20th in Gideon Welles Bar at 6pm.
