The 2018 Féile Peile na nÓg is taking place this weekend.
The national festival of football for boys and girls under 14 years of age is being jointly-hosted by Down, Louth and Meath. First held in 1982 in Cavan when a total of 40 boys' team took part, Féile Peile na nÓg has grown to include 288 teams this year - 176 boys' teams and 112 girls' teams.
All teams are guaranteed at least four games over Friday and Saturday. Upon completion of the three group games teams are ranked 1-4. Teams ranked 1st and 2nd proceed to the Cup quarter finals, while teams ranked 3rd and 4th proceed to the Shield quarter finals.
New York are the defending Division 1 boys' champions while Glanmire of Cork won the Division 1 girls' cup last year.
