Tir Chonaill Gaels' manager Barney Breen admits that it has not been easy for either side to prepare for this year's county SFC final.

The defending champions take on St Kiernan's in the long overdue final on November 29th with St Kiernan's winning their semi-final clash in early October.

TCG's did finally play their semi last Sunday, but they too had a long wait beforehand.

"Kiernan's are in the same boat as us in that they haven't had a game in a while either; but we've got three weeks to prepare for a final and we've still got a lot of work to do," Breen told the Irish Post.

"We know there's areas we can improve on and that's the most important thing for us now. It's been so long since we had a game, I think we had a few cobwebs to get rid of, especially in the first 15 minutes."
