Summer Camp for 2015

Once again Tara GFC held a very successful annual Summer Camp at Hendon FC, Kingsbury recently. Camp was open to all club in London aged from 4 years up to Under 14's along with Tara's was Granuaille, St Kiernan's, Parnell's and Tir Chonaill Gaels clubs. Child Protection Office Tina Tracey and chief organiser thanked all the coaches/teachers who done a fantastic job at the camp and thanked the parents/carers for their kind support. Granuaille assisted with the hurling and supplied the hurling equipment. A special thanks to Rob Morris and his team for their generosity and community spirit enabling the club to use the excellent facilities. A visit from local Cllr Mary Daly who is a keen supporter of the GAA in London along with Tara's Life President Proinnsias Redican and his wife Mary, London Youths Chairman Tony Griffin, Community Development Administrator Lloyd Colfer and other dignitaries. Thanks to Sharon Kelly for the lovely music on Friday. All 120 children seemed to have a wonderful time with a lot of passion and energy getting involved in fun activities and Gaelic games and Self Defence & Girl empowerment along with arts and crafts along with both hurling and football skills throughout the week. Thanks to all involved in helping to make this a very successful summer camp for 2015.


Meeting

There will be a meeting at Mac's Bar in Kingsbury on Wednesday the 2nd of September at 8.30pm

Training at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE

Training will resume back at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE on Friday the 4th of September at 6.30pm. We look forward to your return after a nice restful break.

 

Dates for your Diary

Tara GFC will host the girls J Ffrench Tournament at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford on Saturday the 12th of September. Registrations at 10.30am and games at 11am.

Tara Youths Presentation Evening will take place on Saturday the 10th of October starting at  6.30pm at Kingsbury Town Football Club (Now Hendon FC)

 

Tara GFC will hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the Fr. O'Callahan Centre in Hay Lane on Friday the 13th November starting  at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend as there is lots of positions and duties on the committee.

Tara GFC will host their 83rd Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday the 27th of Feb 2016 at the Clayton Crown Hotel in Cricklewood. More information nearer the time, but save the date as a great night is promised.

 

New Recruits

New players are always welcome - If you live in London or are planning to move to London and wish to join a friendly warm and dedicated GAA club.  The Tara's club boast a full complement of teams Men's, Ladies Senior/Junior and the Youth Section cover all age groups U6 up to u18's with a Girls only section catering for U12's to U18's.
